Dr. Susan Zwanger-Mendelsohn is an experienced radiologist specializing in Diagnostic Radiology. She was Board Certified in 1985 by the American Board of Radiology.

Dr. Zwanger-Mendelsohn is a native Long Islander, having graduated from Massapequa High School as Valedictorian. She attended the Honors Program in Medical Education at Northwestern University, receiving a BS in Medicine in 1978 and an MD degree from Northwestern University Medical School in 1980.

Dr. Zwanger-Mendelsohn performed her internship at Columbia-Presbyterian Medical Center in Internal Medicine, her radiology residency at New York University Medical Center and her fellowship at Nassau County Medical Center in Interventional Radiology/Angiography, Ultrasound and Computerized Tomography. She currently serves on the Executive Committee of the Nassau County Medical Society.

Dr. Zwanger-Mendelsohn also is a member of the following medical societies:
