Dr. Hong Meng is Board Certified by the American Board in Radiology since 2001.  Dr. Meng joined Zwanger-Pesiri in 2007.

Dr. Meng obtained her MD degree at Beijing Medical College, School of Medicine in 1984 and her MM (Ph.D. Equivalent) at the Chinese Academy of Medicine Sciences, Peking Union Medical College in Beijing, China in 1988.

Dr. Meng did her residency in the Department of Internal Medicine at Longfu Hospital in Beijing, China in 1985 and was a Research Associate at the Chinese Academy of Medicine Sciences in Beijing, China in 1988 and 1989.  Dr. Meng obtained her Postdoctoral Fellow in the Department of Physiology at the Medical College of Virginia in 1992.

At SUNY in Stony Brook, NY,  Dr. Meng was a Research Scientist in the Department of Medicine and Dermatology in 1992-1996, a Resident in Internal Medicine in 1996-1997, a Chief Resident in Radiology in 1997-2001 and an MRI Fellow in 2001-2002.. 

During 2002-2007, Dr. Meng was an Assistant Professor in the Department of Radiology in SUNY at Stony Brook, NY, where she was a Director in Body MRI and Cardiovascular MRI.
