Dr. James Manzione is a Board Certified radiologist since 1984 and joined Zwanger-Pesiri in 2007. 

Dr. Manzione obtained his BA from the State University of New York in 1973. He obtained his MD at the University of Pennsylvania in 1977. Dr. Manzione also obtained his DMD - Doctor of Dental Medicine - from the University of Pennsylvania in 1978.

Dr. Manzione completed his Internal Medicine internship at Beth Israel Hospital and Harvard Medical School in Boston, Massachusetts in 1979. He also completed his residency at Beth Israel Hospital and Harvard Medical School in 1980. He completed his Diagnostic Radiology residency at Brigham and Women's Hospital and Harvard Medical School in Boston, Massachusetts 1983. Dr. Manzione completed his fellowship in Neuroradiology and Magnetic Resonance Imaging at Strong Memorial Hospital and the University of Rochester School of Medicine and Dentistry in Rochester, New York in 1986. His Interventional Neuroradiology fellowship was completed in 1994 at the New York University Medical Center in Manhattan, New York.

Dr. Manzione  has written numerous publications including books, manuscripts, and abstracts covering many highly specialized medical imaging techniques. He contributes to medical exhibits around the country, providing his expertise and demonstrating the latest advances in the world of medical diagnostics.

Dr. Manzione currently serves on the Medical Board at Stony Brook University Hospital. He is the Chairman of the Credentialing Committee for Carotid and Peripheral Endovascular Procedures.
