Dr. Gabriel Gelves is a Board Certified radiologist since 2005 and joined Zwanger-Pesiri in 2008. 

Dr. Gelves obtained his BS in medicine from the University of Florida in 1993. He obtained his Doctorate of Osteopathic Medicine at New York College of Osteopathic Medicine in Westbury, New York in 1998.

Dr. Gelves completed his diagnostic radiology residency at St. Barnabas Hospital in Bronx, New York in 2003. He also completed his internship at St. Barnabas Hospital in 1999. Dr. Gelves completed his fellowship at Proscan Imaging in Cincinnati, Ohio in 2007 where he studied advanced MRI in Sports Medicine and Musculoskeletal Imaging.

Before Zwanger-Pesiri, Dr. Gelves had a career in the Air Force Guard and Reserve as combat search and rescue. He retired in 2006 after 27 years of service.
