Anton O. Beitia, M.D. is a board certified radiologist with a Certificate of Added Qualification in Neuroradiology, and was happy to join Zwanger-Pesiri in 2008.

Dr. Beitia received his bachelor's degree at New York University and his MD degree at SUNY-Downstate Medical Center. Dr. Beitia completed his internship in internal medicine at Beth Israel Medical Center in New York City and his residency in Diagnostic Radiology at SUNY-Downstate Medical Center. Dr. Beitia went on to complete his fellowship in Neuroradiology at the University of Rochester Medical Center.

Prior to joining Zwanger-Pesiri, Dr. Beitia had been an attending neuroradiologist and assistant professor of radiology at the University of Rochester. He has published articles in several medical journals including the American Journal of Roentgenology and Current Sports Medicine Reports.
